Apple Cinnamon Chia Pudding

In the last year I’ve taught over 200 people how to Freesh (link). My Raw Food Courses are mainly catered to beginners as that is what the majority of the clientele that comes to Bali is looking for. Every class there are always questions and concerns regarding difficulties in transitioning to and maintaining a high raw diet. One of the most common ones is financial. Do I need to spend a fortune on superfoods? The answer is simply, no. There are so many undercover, inexpensive superfoods. Cinnamon is one of my all time faves. Chia seeds are a much more well known superfood, and are pretty affordable. Their price tag isn’t ridiculous and they last for ages, as only a tablespoon or two is needed to make a large breakfast bowl. So this Cinnamon Chia Pudding is an excellent, affordable, superfood packed way to start your day.

Among some of the incredible health benefits that make cinnamon a superfood are :

  • It kicks Candida’s Butt
  • Combined with honey it is a powerful natural remedy for the flu
  • It’s anti-bacterial and anti-microbial
  • It is a blood thinner
  • It can help balance blood sugar levels

Plus it tastes incredible! I often put cinnamon in my chia puddings, as well as my smoothies, and of course, in many desserts. This combination is a classic that impresses time and time again in many different types of recipes.

Did you know that there are two types of cinnamon, and one is waay more awesome than the other!

Here’s an article detailing how to pick the right cinnamon and some reasons why it is so important to get the right one.

So enjoy this Apple Cinnamon Chia pudding knowing that you don’t need to break the bank to fill your body with superfoods 🙂
