Raw Blue Raspberry Swirl Cake

Do you remember those digusting yet amazing blue raspberry slushies they served at the movie theatres and amusement parks as a kid? Easily my favorite flavor of all the fake flavors they invented to get kids going bananas. Blue was my favorite color, I loved raspberries, and anything that was clearly not healthy really got me going. It’s amazing how differently I eat now than as a kid.

Anyhow. The idea of combining Blueberries and Raspberries really tickles my fancy. So I freeshed up this exquisite Blue Raspberry Swirl Cake.

Blue Raspberry Swirl Cake = Heaven

The recipe involves 3 layers – a blueberry layer which acts as the base, a raspberry layer in the middle, and a vanilla layer on top for the swirl cake to really shine. This layer also acts as an icing. Here’s more food porn!Swirl-Cake-Slice
