And mangos, well, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love them. They are deserving of their own song. One day soon. At the moment the only fruit that has earned it’s own track is the King. Which is in season right now here in Bali. More Durian Recipes to come soon 🙂

In the meanwhile, this Raw Pecan Mango Pie Recipe is going to keep you more than satisfied. It’s got a similar consistency to a traditional pecan pie, although a bit more gelatinous. Mangos and Pecans go together unsurprisingly delightfully. I only wish I hadn’t slept on this combo for this long. The possibilities are endless. I just had the idea of mango pecan granola. Oh man.


This recipe is really simple and easy. And if you can’t get Irish Moss easily where you are, or it’s really expensive, then you can just replace it with coconut oil or a combination of coconut oil and cacao butter.

    This looks delicious! However, what is irish moss and where can I find it in Michigan, USA? If I can’t find it, what can I use instead?
    Also, could I use macadamia nuts or almonds for pili nuts? Idk where to find them either. I wish I lived in a tropical paradise like you do, but alas I do not so I must make do with imported nuts and fresh MI produce (which is delicious!)!
