If I had to pick a favorite nut, Pecans would probably win. Right up there with hazelnuts. And both of them go just divinely with Chocolate. Which is pretty darn important. If you ask me 😉

Raw Sprouted Granola Balls

Raw Sprouted Granola Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1½ cup chopped pitted Dates
  • 4 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 cup Almonds (soaked & dehydrated)
  • ½ cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • ½ cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 cup rolled Oats
  • 1 cup dehydrated bananas
  • ½ cup Dried Coconut Shreds
  • ½ cup Raisins
  • A Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped dates, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a food processor until a thick paste is formed. Transfer into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients into the bowl then blitz in the food processor until well mixed.
  3. Remove the mixture, form into balls with your hands and put on a teflex dehydrator sheet.
  4. Dehydrate for 2 hours at 110 Fahrenheit then put onto mesh sheet and dehydrate for 4 more hours. Dehydrate for less time if you want it super chewy.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
  6. Take out and eat!
