Chia Seeds have a rich history of being a superfood, dating back to the Aztecs, who considered it to be more valuable than gold. They used it primarily as an efficient energy source, and were known to eat it before embarking on long runs; so often that it has been called the “Aztec Running Food.”

They boast a couple of quite unique nutritional characteristics, particularly being incredibly high in Omega 3 Fatty Acids, as well as containing tryptophan. Omega 3s are vital for brain function, and tryptophan is important for regulating sleep, appetite and improving mood.

Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips,

    Hey Mr Freesh,

I made a turkish delight chia pudding a few times…not really raw using bottled pomegranate juice but the juice was organic and 100% pure plain purrty pomegranate! So it goes something like: 1 part rose water to 8-10 parts pomegranate juice, a little bit of cinnamon and a bigger little bit of vanilla powder. Agave or other liquid sweetener “to desired sweetness”. If you can get pomegranates and juice ’em, even better! Tastes like magic, delightful magic 🙂
